John DeLuca (born April 25, 1986) portrays Butchy in Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2.

Biography

John DeLuca returns as Butchy, Lela’s protective older brother who travels from the movie world into the present-day “real” world to convince her to return, in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Teen Beach 2.” His television credits include roles in “Instant Mom,” “Twisted,” “Wizards of Waverly Place,” “Jessie,” “Ugly Betty” and “Lights Out.” His upcoming feature credits include starring roles in Lorne Michaels’ “Staten Island Summer” and the indie “Chalk It Up,” with Maddy Curley. His first school play was “The Wizard of Oz,” in which he played the Scarecrow. DeLuca also played the role of Kenickie in a summer theatre production of “Grease.” Raised in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, DeLuca graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre from Fordham University in New York City. He is an eagle scout and is trained on stilts and can juggle. DeLuca has two younger brothers, and his interests include being with family, playing guitar, watching movies, playing sports and spending time outside, especially on the beach.
